I am very proud to be the Headteacher at Woodlands Primary School, supported by a highly skilled and dedicated team of teachers and support staff. Our school is a two form entry primary with an integrated nursery and a Hearing Impaired Resource Base for South Gloucestershire.
Our vision is to be outstanding in all – being the best that we can be in everything that we do. We have high aspirations for our children, and our ethos can be best described as ‘nurture and challenge’. We strongly believe in providing an emotionally predictable, safe learning environment where children can thrive under our high expectations.
We follow a rich knowledge-based curriculum called 'A Million Dreams', which places a strong emphasis on children acquiring a secure understanding of the core skills of reading, writing and maths, within an exciting and engaging, broad and balanced curriculum.
It was lovely to see so many families join us yesterday for our Geography themed Million Dreams workshops in KS1. @GreenshawTrust #Partnership https://t.co/JetALNCRLV
Holi is also known as the 'festival of flowers'. We have created colourful artwork inspired by this! #HoliCelebration https://t.co/nOYMAQCyKy
We are so proud of Mrs Lansdown who competed in the Hampton Court Half Marathon on Sunday. Way to go Mrs Lansdown !! ♀️♂️ #Marathon #inspiration https://t.co/a0niqCRNhh
The Nursery and Reception children thoroughly enjoyed their visit today from Birds of Prey Discovery. We got to meet Flo the barn owl, Stan the kestrel and Pip the little owl. We really enjoyed learning different facts about them. #discovery https://t.co/9uWgF8Gmqo
