Volunteer with us
Do you have a little time to spare each week? If you are looking for a rewarding experience, we have plenty of opportunities for any parents/carers or friends of Woodlands Primary who wish to become more involved with the school. We are always on the look-out for volunteers to help with many different activities. For example:
- Reading with children
- Sharing stories
- Sporting activities
- Assisting on trips and educational visits, Art workshops
- Music/singing
- Gardening, Looking after our libraries
- Any help or skills you are able to offer would be greatly appreciated.
We love to have volunteers helping in school. They really add to the life of the school. If you would like to volunteer to help either hearing reading or by offering other skills, please get in touch with the office on 01454 866535. You’ll need to commit to a regular time each week, please, so we can plan for you coming along, and you will need to complete a volunteer application form from the school office.
We require all volunteers to hold an enhanced disclosure and barring service check and where applicable a prohibition check, we can provide this for you. We will also need two references from colleagues or people who know you.
